Phi Kappa Phi is a distinct honor that is reserved for only the most talented students; Phi Kappa Phi rewards academic excellence, such as a high GPA in a chosen major, a significant intellectual presence in classes, or other evidence of academic excellence; and Phi Kappa Phi is a tribute to the member’s strength of character, as well as intellect.

Phi Kappa Phi is the most prestigious honor society at East Carolina University. Founded in 1897 at the University of Maine, the society recognizes extraordinary intellectual talent and character. Because of their outstanding records, members of Phi Kappa Phi often are preferred candidates for grants, scholarships, and fellowships.

Dr Cook shared a great exam tip the other day. So here’s one of my top tips for exam success: 15 minutes before the exam, STOP studying. Do something else, something fun, something that will make you laugh. A relaxed brain works better than a stressed brain.
