Dept. of Political Science Alum Kenny Talton was recently was awarded the Best of the Boot award for “Best Government Employee” by The New Old North and the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce (the County of Wayne is shaped just like a boot, hence, the name!)

Dr. Matthews recently gave an interview to the Russian-language independent news outlet Meduza. They spoke about Wagner Group chief Prigozhin’s death, Stalin’s purges, and state repression in general.

The other day we posted a quote from Ronald Reagan which we believed was a inspirational, regardless of who said it. There were some comments made in response, seemingly based on who he was, what he advocated, and so forth. This is fine. That’s is absolutely fair in the social media environment.
