Dept. of Political Science Alum Kenny Talton was recently was awarded the Best of the Boot award for “Best Government Employee” by The New Old North and the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce (the County of Wayne is shaped just like a boot, hence, the name!)

The other day we posted a quote from Ronald Reagan which we believed was a inspirational, regardless of who said it. There were some comments made in response, seemingly based on who he was, what he advocated, and so forth. This is fine. That’s is absolutely fair in the social media environment.
However, let us state, just for the record: We are striving to be completely non-partisan in our posts, not favoring (or disfavoring) any particular side, point of view, etc.
