Current SMILe Graduate (MS) Students

Madison Weeks: Madison completed her BS in Exercise Physiology at ECU and joined the lab in the Fall semester of 2021 (Biomechanics and Motor Control Concentration). She is working on a project involving neural synchrony across cheerleading partners, and whether interpersonal experience changes how brain activation patterns might be shared across partners. We’re excited to see what her PhD project will be!

Mikayla Chambers: Mikayla completed her BS in Exercise Physiology at ECU and joined the lab in the Fall semester of 2021 (Biomechanics and Motor Control Concentration). She is working on a project involving how brain activation is related to the perception of task difficulty in gymnastics.

Nikole Galman: Nikole completed her BS in Exercise Physiology at ECU and joined the lab in the Fall semester of 2022 (Biomechanics and Motor Control Concentration). She is working on a project involving how brain complex sequential motor skills are encoded in the brain.
