The BTST and BDEV databases were upgraded to Oracle 19C. The upgrade to 19c comes with new password requirements. The new system has new password rules and they are listed below:
- The password has at least 15 characters.
- Must have at least 1 lower case character and at least 1 upper case character.
- Must have at least 1 digit/number.
- Must have at least 1 special character.
- Special characters you can use are: !%*+,-/:?_
- Special characters you may not use are: @$&”(),<>`;=# or a space
- The password differs from the previous password by at least 8 characters.
- The password does not exceed 30 characters.
The new password requirements will go into effect for PBAN and SBBT when they are upgraded to Oracle 19c on September 11-12, 2021.
