Banner PBAN hardware changeout begins today after 5:00 PM. Once the go-ahead has been given that all processes are done the change out will begin.
We will not start until Payroll has finished and we definitely don’t want to interrupt those processes.
Additionally, if you are administrating any system or service that accesses PBAN or ODSPRD, please ensure that you shut it down when notified. There may be an occasion where the old databases would be available for a few seconds as we are in the process of transitioning, and a running process could connect.
Also, please LOG OUT of Banner, PiratePort, ecuBIC, etc before you leave today and encourage your staff to do so as well. Any sessions that are connected that may have an uncommitted transaction will be killed and the data rolled back.
