In part 1 of this series, we learned that the first letter tells you which Banner System the form operates. In part 2 of this series, we learned the second letter tells you what Module the form controls. The third letter tells you what type of Object you are using. For example, using SHARQTC to produce transcripts, the A means Application Form. Let’s try another example, initiating NBPMASS to change salaries for employees, the P means Process. Listed below are more examples of object types:
A – Application Form
B – Base Table or a Process
I – Inquiry Form
P – Process
R – Rule Table, Repeating Table, Report
V – Validation Form
