Announcement – ITCS Network Outage – October 9, 2022

Sunday, October 9, 2022 between 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM – Network Maintenance will occur causing a network outage to be campus wide and the following services will be impacted: phones, wireless, wired, and VPN connectivity. Also effected, Banner and related services will be unavailable during this time period.

Sunday, October 9, 2022 between 8:00 AM to 12:00 PMTools.ecu.edu will be unavailable on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 8:00am-12:00pm for maintenance. During this time the ECU homepage (www.ecu.edu) may be intermittently unavailable.

Sunday, October 9, 2022 between 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM – ITCS will be performing emergency maintenance on Sunday, October 9th from 8:00am to 3:00pm to apply a hot-fix to ITCS and Departmental NAS servers. As a result of the maintenance, access to the following servers (PIRATEDRIVE, CET, COEITC, GEOGRAPHY, HSL-GLADIATOR, JSCANNING, MTS-VIDEO, NURSE, RADONCP, SANDTIGER, SAVE, SCT, SOFO, SURGERY, TAL, UMP, UNICOM, VCL, and XTENDER) will be briefly interrupted during this time. Most computers will automatically reconnect, however a reboot of your computer may be required to fully restore access. In the event you experience any issues not resolved by a reboot, please contact Pirate Techs by phone at 252-328-9866 or via the Web at https://ithelp.ecu.edu to request assistance.

Fall Break — Classes resume at 8:00 am Wednesday, October 12.
