Monday, September 11, 2023 – On September 7, 2023, Apple released an emergency security patch for iOS 16.6.1, iPadOS 16.6.1, macOS Ventura 13.5.2, and watchOS 9.6.2 to fix zero-day vulnerabilities previously exploited by attackers to hack iPhones, iPads, Macs, or Apple Watches. It is advised that if you own and utilize any of the Apple products listed below that you upgrade to the latest version of software on those devices as soon as possible.
1. iPhone 8 and later
2. iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad 5th generation and later, and iPad mini 5th generation and later
3. Macs running macOS Ventura
4. Apple Watch Series 4 and later
All ECU-owned Mac computers running macOS Ventura needs to be upgraded to the latest version by Monday, September 18, 2023 at 5:00pm or your network access will be blocked. Some restarts may be required.
