Thursday, June 14, 2024 – If you received a Virus & threat protection message on your computer from Windows Security saying, “Action needed in Windows Defender, Microsoft Defender Antivirus found EUS:Win32/… in Chrome.exe”, this was a false alert which led to Google Chrome being removed from some user’s computers. ITCS is actively working to reinstall Chrome on computers.
