Dr. Jo Anne Balanay gave a poster presentation on the research study titled “Assessment of Occupational Noise Exposure among Groundskeepers in North Carolina Public Universities” during the 2017 American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Exposition (AIHce) on June 5-7, 2017 at Seattle, WA.  This study aimed to assess the occupational noise exposure of groundskeepers employed in three public universities in NC, and evaluate the association between noise exposure and certain variables, such as university, month, and tool used.
