Dr. Stephanie Richards was selected to serve as a member of the Vector Program Committee of the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA). The application process was highly competitive, which demonstrates that Dr. Richards’ selection is a testament of her experience, initiative and commitment to enhance vector capacity of the environmental health workforce. This committee works collaboratively to
- develop position papers and policy statements
- provide guidance and input on NEHA’s vector programs and projects
- identify and make recommendations related to resource gaps, needs of the profession, and emerging issues.
- identify best practices, successes, and challenges for environmental health professionals in vector programs.
- promote and share materials and resources developed by NEHA’s vector projects and those developed through this committee
- identify funding opportunities for vector projects and programs
Her committee membership is for 2 years form January 2022 to December 2023.
