MS Environmental Health students, Nana-Obaayaa Owusu and Jordan Williams, presented their thesis projects at the 2022 Association of Environmental Health Academic Programs (AEHAP) Virtual Student Symposium as Student Research Competition (SRC) Award winners. Nana’s research presentation was on solar ultraviolet radiation exposure in outdoor working environment during cold months, with Dr. Jo Anne Balanay serving as her faculty preceptor. Jordan’s research presentation was on nosocomial or hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) with novel antimicrobial, with Dr. Lok Pokhrel serving as her faculty preceptor. Eight students presented their environmental health research projects at today’s Student Symposium from EHAC-accredited programs in various universities.
