Mr. William Hill (ECU BS Environmental Health Program Director) presented at the 2023 Annual Spring Educational Meeting of the North Carolina Environmental Health Supervisor’s Association (NCEHSA) held in Aberdeen, NC today, March 30, 2023. The title of his presentation was “It’s Game Time!”, wherein he discussed about the responsibility of local, state and university Environmental Health programs to educate middle school, high school and community colleges regarding careers in environmental health through contact with science teachers/classes and high school career counselors. Mr. Hill also stressed the importance of environmental health supervisors to take the lead to develop a more focused approach to the education requirements in the Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) job description.
