Ms. Shannon Pierce, an BS Environmental Health alumna (class of 2017), came back to ECU today as a guest speaker in the EHST 3200: Food Sanitation Practices and Principles class.  She shared her experiences in improper sewage disposal, food trucks, local confinement inspections, addressing complaints, childhood lead poisoning investigations, school inspections and integrated pest management. Ms. Pierce currently serves as an Environmental Health Specialist (EHS) at Edgecombe County Environmental Health Department.
