MS Environmental Health students presented their research projects today at the virtual Association of Environmental Health Academic Programs (AEHAP) Student Symposium 2024. This interactive event featured award winners and runners up from the 2024 AEHAP Student Research Competition (SRC) who presented their research projects. The Symposium offered a unique opportunity to experience research done by environmental health (EH) students.
The following MSEH students orally presented their research:
- Will Murray – “Novel Testing of Insecticides against Mosquitoes” (Faculty Mentor: Dr. Stephanie Richards)
- Bridget Angol – “Wet Bulb Globe Temperature – Prototype App to Monitor Comparison” (Faculty Mentor: Dr. Jo Anne Balanay)
Seven students presented their environmental health research projects at today’s Student Symposium from EHAC-accredited programs in various universities. This year, student presenters were from North Carolina, Wisconsin, California, Montana, Kentucky and Missouri.
