Dr. Stephanie Richards, with her collaborator Dr. Sinan Sousan (ECU Department of Public Health), received a $110,000 grant from North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS). The purpose of the grant is to continue the insecticide resistance testing, using CDC bottle bioassays for testing active ingredients, that Dr. Richards has been doing for the past several years for mosquito control programs across the state. Her team also expanded this work to include some formulated product testing in their novel wind tunnel for NC mosquito control programs. Congratulations!
