Jamelia Johnson (BSEH 2017) is currently working as Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Specialist at Henkel Corporation in Salisbury, NC wherein electronics and industrial adhesives are manufactured.  Some of Jamelia’s responsibilities include conducting safety orientation for new hires, issuing and recordkeeping for their personal protective equipment (e.g. safety glasses, safety shoes, respirators) used on-site, conducting risk assessments, job hazard analysis and pre-safety startup reviews (PSSRs), and leading monthly safety communication meetings.  Jamelia recently signed up to attend an OSHA 30-hour class, and will be sent to Ohio in November 2017 for leadership training.
