Mr. William Hill (ECU BS Environmental Health Program Director) presented at the 2019 North Carolina Environmental Health Supervisor’s Association (NCEHSA) Annual Spring Education Meeting held in Aberdeen, NC from April 24-26, 2019. The title of his presentation was “East Carolina University Environmental Health Internship Program”, wherein he discussed the internship in the BS Environmental Health (BSEH) Program and its partnership with the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS). Such partnership will now allow BSEH students to attend the Centralized Intern Training and Authorization (CIT) held in Raleigh, NC for internship credits. The CIT is the first step for environmental health specialists to become authorized to perform environmental health inspections for the state.
