The first time you read “Bunny’s Book Club,” enjoy the story with your child. When you re-read the book, try some of the suggestions found in the back of the book!
Starting Up: Read the title out loud and explain to your child that a book club is when friends gather to read or discuss books. Talk about special books you and your child read together.
Reading the Story: When Bunny is inside the library, point out things you can find at the library, like books, computers, or story time. Ask your child to identify each type of animal as they arrive to the library
After the Story: Ask your child questions about the story. How did Bunny get into the library? Who caught him? Why do people return books to the library when they finish reading them?
Try visiting your local library! Read books there and then get you and your child library cards so you can check out books to take home!
