The previous articles presented us with the first three letters of a Banner name and what they represent. Now we will discuss the last four letters in a Banner name. The last four letters of a Banner name describe the object. The examples below show this in action. We will share examples for HR and Position Control:
IDEN – Identification
EMPL – Employee
DEDN – Deductions / Benefits
POSN – Position
PBUD – Position Budget
JLBD – Job Labor Distribution
Here is what our example name means when you put it all together:
PEAEMPL – Payroll Employee Application Form for Employees
NBAPBUD – Position Control Budget Module Application Form in Position Budget
