Mosquito research conducted by Dr. Stephanie Richards and other collaborators in North Carolina, known as the Zika Task Force, was recently featured on National Public Radio’s The Down East Journal. Dr. Richards talked about mosquitoes prevalent in North Carolina, possible dissemination and transmission of Zika virus by the local mosquitoes, and more.
