DrPH-EOH Candidate Defends Dissertation on Onsite Wastewater Treatment

Jordan Jernigan, a Doctor of Public Health – Environmental and Occupational Health (DrPH-EOH) candidate, successfully defended today his dissertation titled, “Nitrogen and Bacteria Treatment Efficiency of Onsite Wastewater Systems in the Piedmont of North Carolina”. Dr. Charles Humphrey (ECU Environmental Health [EH] Professor) serves as his dissertation committee chair. His other committee members are Dr. Guy Iverson (ECU Environmental Health), Dr. Michael O’Driscoll (ECU Department of Coastal Studies) and Dr. Natasha Bell (Virginia Tech, Department of Biological Systems Engineering).
