The seniors in this studio class are tasked with the creation of a model condo unit for the hypothetical developer of a retirement community in Greenville NC. The units in this development are intended to be created using ADA accessibility guidelines as well as the principles of Universal Design. The students must also consider how they will incorporate historical precedent into their design.
The semester begins with teams researching some of the areas that they must consider as they proceed with the project.
