The College of Human Ecology Office of Marketing and Communication is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing marketing and communication strategies to promote strong positive visibility on campus and to an ever-expanding market beyond campus for the mission, programs, people, and events of the College of Human Ecology.
The office is seeking an intern to:write copy for the college’s glossy annual report, monthly newsletter, and other marketing materials, assist in writing press releases, assist with special events, assist with the development of promotional videos, take photos for marketing materials,
Work schedule is flexible. Candidate must be willing to commit to a weekly schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Skills Desired
Potential intern needs to have a good grasp of Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is a plus. Candidate must be able to adhere to deadlines.
This position is not paid but will garner valuable writing experience and résumé enhancement.
Desired Program/Degree
Technical Writing, English, Communication, Marketing students are preferred.
