The Helping Hand Project is seeking students to help with PR, community outreach, and project management – Summer, Fall 2024

The Helping Hand Project is a nonprofit group at ECU dedicated to the design and creation of prosthetic devices for children with limb difference. We are working to get our PR/outreach built up to raise awareness of this issues and are seeking students who may be interested in helping us promote this innovative collaboration between healthcare and technology. 

Vice President

      Manage other officers and oversee projects and operations.

      Be involved in project planning and implementation in meeting activities

      Coordinate with Project manager/fabrication to know progress of work

Case Design Chair

      Oversee small group projects

      Plan and implement training modules for members

      Check in with teams regularly to track progress

Public Relations/Marketing

     Maintains social media presence throughout the week (ex. Instagram, TikTok etc.), share to group chats/teams

Manages/delegates photography responsibilities at meetings.

Oversee social media team in running HHP campaign

Secretary

      Notify members of the place and time of upcoming meetings via email or group chat

      Maintain accurate records of meeting attendance (QR code/sign in sheet)

      Reserve meeting spaces and coordinate special event details

 Communications/Outreach Coordinator

Coordinates with ECU department/industry leaders for resources

Collaboration with other student organizations/HHP National events

Plans opportunities to serve Greenville community
