Special Events & Promotions Coordinator:
Ideal but not limited to communication/ public relations majors, the Special Events & Promotions Coordinator is responsible for communicating the mission and image of Habitat for Humanity to the public.
Key responsibilities are developing brochures, website design, press releases, and social media outlets. The Coordinator will also promote special events and fundraisers and will be an integral part of our promotions team. The student(s) capture family experiences and highlight touching stories for use in educational and fundraising events. This person also assists in developing and coordinating secondary and collegiate fundraiser campaigns.
This position requires a junior or senior standing with superior writing, speaking, computer, and creative skills.
Knowledge in graphic design, web publishing, and new technologies is a plus.
