Warner Bros. Entertainment Group seeks interns for Fall 2010 semester. The internships will develop and mentor top-tier diverse students nationwide in entertainment and media industries to prepare students for corporate and community leadership.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The internships are part-time, 16-24 hours/week. Duration is negotiable based on the department’s business needs and the selected student’s academic schedule.
Participants will be placed within a department with a defined discipline such as Development, Production, Publicity, Marketing, Human Resources, Distribution or Digital & New Media.
Interns are given entry-level opportunities that will provide a real-life business environment and encourage them to discover their own interests and capacities. Participants are expected to learn and engage in department operations and complete various subject matter-related projects as assigned by their department supervisors.
Interns will have the opportunity to attend studio events & screenings, network with colleagues, and gain valuable work experience in the entertainment industry.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be CURRENTLY ENROLLED in an undergraduate college or university.
SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE COVER LETTER OUTLINING DAYS AND TIMES OF AVAILABILITY, AS WELL AS AREA OF INTEREST.

General office skills and computer proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet required.

Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and to organize & schedule a high workload effectively.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to see projects through to completion, problem solve, and multi-task under time constraints.
