Job Description	The Media Relations department is looking for qualified interns. CBS Television Distribution is the preeminent company in worldwide television syndication. CTD produces or distributes 11 first-run series and holds the largest internationally distributed television library. Duties Include: -Collecting internet clips daily -Organize and keep track of trades/magazines/newspapers -Assist in working publicity events -Answer phones correctly and in a timely manner -Assist and observe in all aspects of a busy Media Relations office. -Heavy phones, filing, on-studio lot deliveries, good typing skills and many other tasks -Fill out and help with photo requests -Help put together items for tradeshows and events -Coordinate the video, newspaper/magazine library and show files -Send show materials, files, videos to deep storage -Create memos/charts -Send faxes -Help coordinate special projects (i.e. show milestones) -Help send out award entry forms (i.e. Emmys) -Run errands for department -Maintain and file ads, gallery and episodic artwork, show materials -Maintain and create show correspondence binders -Order office supplies -Make follow-up phone calls for various projects and requests -Communicate with TV production offices to obtain information needed -Assist with various pilot projects (photography, paperwork) -Help to coordinate press materials
Required Skills/Experience	– Strong writing skills – Organizational skills – A passion for Public Relations – Resourcefulness – Self-motivation – Positive attitude – Strong interest in the television industry – Ability to interact with high-ranking executives and television personalities The internship is on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday/Thursday schedule from 9:00am – 5:30pm. Days and hours worked are not flexible. This opportunity is available to current students and is for academic credit only. Must be able to submit letter from college/university stating the class and number of credits to be earned.
