Description: We are currently seeking candidates to fill the following two internship positions during the 2011-2012 season:
Events Internship
Promotions InternshipWe are looking for candidates who:
Are able to commit to a full-time work schedule (8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., weekends and evenings as necessary) from approximately June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Are proficient in Microsoft Office software applications
Have a passion to work in the professional sports industry and are ready to make an impact on the Team organization!Events Internship: Assist in the development and execution of programs and events that promote the team and its corporate partners and to enhance the fan experience. Assist with planning and execution of all on-field entertainment during Team home games.
Promotions Internship: Responsible for assisting in the development and execution of Team promotions and marketing initiatives. By working with all of the Team’s resources, the goal of the Promotions Intern is to assist in increasing awareness of the Team and to enhance the fan experience.
