Business Analyst Internship

Responsibilities:  Summary   
This  position  will  be  responsible  for  supporting  the  Chapter’s  Preparedness Unit by analyzing data – statistical and financial, to provide summary reports and evaluations. He/she will assist the Sr. Director, Preparedness, Health & Safety Services.
Key Responsibilities     
Financial Reporting / Analysis
• Review financial Revenue Trends (local and national)
• Review financial expense trends (local and national)
• Review Market Data
• Create Expense forecast models/reports
• Create Revenue Forecast Reports
Labor Reporting / Analysis
• Review Labor Trends (local and national)
• Create Labor Forecast Reports
Qualitative/Quantitative Survey Reporting / Analysis
• Review various Quantitative and Qualitative Data to provide summary reports on surveys to measure such things as:
     -Event Satisfaction
     -Customer Satisfaction
     -Quality Assurance
     -Cost Effectiveness
Reporting Consolidation
• Review processes and procedures utilized to record various pieces of data
• Provide recommendations for a “framework” for standardized reports across the division.
 
 
Qualifications:  Requirements   
•  Computer  competence:    Internet,  Word,  Excel, Web-Based databases, accounting systems
•  Strong  written  and  verbal  skills
•  Strong analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
•  Must  be  detailed-oriented  and  organized 
•  Valid  drivers  license
Preferences

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or Public Affairs
  • Strong research experience
  • On track for MBA, MPA, CPA
 
 
Benefits:  Internship  Information   
-300  hour  requirement  (up  to  20-25  hours  per  week) 
-A  one-time  $500  stipend  allocated  upon  completion  of  internship  hours.
-Internship will be conducted M-F, 8:30-5:00 PM at the Chicago location
*It is possible that this internship may be extended beyond the initial 300 hours for another 300 term for which the individual would receive a $500 stipend for completion of.
