| Internships – In Video Production and Web Design We currently have two places available in our internship programme one in Video Production and the other in Web Design. These placements are aimed at students and graduates looking to acquire practical work experience in the field of Video Production and Web Design our internship programme provides you with the prospect of working closely with professionals, developing your show reel, gaining hands on experience and the possibility of a paid position. The placement will run for 8 hours a week, for 8 weeks. Hood Video Shop is a new media project set up to empower, establish and promote up and coming musicians by creating high quality visuals for very affordable prices. We create professional music videos and promos for artists using professional equipment, and professional film making techniques but at a fraction of the price. The project has been running for 6months and is backed by an SME umbrella production company. The feedback in this short time has been amazing and we currently looking to expand this facet of the business. In order to do this we need a strong team of devoted and highly motivated individuals. Skills you will develop: Video Production • Camera work • Directing • Editing • Grading • Producing Web Design • Maintenance and development of the website • Web optimisation • Creating a positive and cutting edge web experience • Providing an online presence across all social media channels • Handling various different media elements online Applicants must show an outstanding enthusiasm for one or a number of the skills outlined above, they must also be highly motivated and eager to learn new skills. Previous experience is not essential but desirable. Evidence of your previous creative work (in any medium) is encouraged.
