We are an ever growing Hip-Hop and Electro music marketing firm with a roster of hot new artist and industry veterans who are pushing to make 2011 a marquee year. Are you up to the task? This internship will give you the opportunity for hands-on participation in the promoting and marketing of very marketable artists who are already getting music scene.
Tasks include:
-Tracking Myspace, Facebook, Twitter stats
-Organizing and managing street teams
-Developing relationships with DJs and Radio Hosts
-Maintain artists calenders
-Maintaining clip books
-Promoting upcoming shows
-Creating online merch stores and marketing merch.
Hours and days are flexible and some of the work can be done from home. But you will also need to spend time with the staff, see shows, and get to know our client roster well.
Job Requirements:
-Be self driven and proactive
-Have an excellent work ethic and take pride in completion of a goal or task
-Have a passion for music and marketing
-Be able to write marketing materials including press releases, blogs, and email blasts
-Own a laptop and be computer and internet saavy.
-Be proficient at social networking, i.e. myspace, facebook, twitter
-Be a self motivator, able to multi-task, work independently, and take initiative with assignments.
-Be detail-oriented, organized and excellent with follow-up
