CR has the largest subscriber-based website in the world (3.5 million) and a combined online/print base of over 8 million. Join a team of professionals dedicated to protecting and informing consumers through various communication channels. This is a wonderful summer internship opportunity for students interested in gaining invaluable experience in a vibrant organization.
Summer internships will be available to current full-time students (undergraduate and graduate college students) or recent graduates (must be graduating in May 2011). Academic credits can be applied if applicable (please specify in your application if your internship will be for credit and provide contact information for your academic institution representative).
Internship positions will start in late May and run through mid-August (total of 12 weeks). Interns will be paid $15 per hour based on a 35-hour workweek. In addition, interns will be invited to participate in activities including lunch with the President of Consumer Reports, interactive panel discussions with expert staff, and tours of our world-renowned product testing labs.
In addition to coursework in your area of interest, qualifications include:
” Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
” Computer/word processing skills;
” Well organized, detail oriented and able to handle changing priorities.
