Overview:
We are seeking interns that are motivated by the success of teamwork, individuals that
understand that every decision has long-term effects on every project. The interns
selected assignments will range from creating event promotional trailers, script writing,
pre and post-production of viral videos and short features. There will be mentors at each
student’s disposal to ensure that they’re not only meeting projects needs, but also working
in compliance with ECU’s internship guidelines.

Model
4-Star Entertainment, LLC, is an event planning and promotional company that operates
throughout the state of North Carolina. 4-Star has worked to become community oriented
and diverse in the events that we host. With the founding members being East Carolina
University Alumni, we would like to extend an opportunity to partner with our alma
mater as we continue to excel and achieve. We would like to forge a partnership with the
East Carolina’s Communications program. We believe that this partnership will benefit
all parties. We are seeking to expand our market to increase event support by embracing
new trends in technology. In our research we’ve found that in today’s “On-Demand High
Definition World”, services go beyond event flyers, word of mouth, and the ordinary
Internet splash pages. So with that in mind, we’ve spoken with James “J.J” McQueen, a
1999 graduate of ECU’s Communications program and an eleven-year veteran of the
broadcast-journalism and film industry. He’s also the owner of Goal Line Media
Productions, www.goallinemedia.com, and partner with the greiBO film crew based out
of Baltimore, MD, www.greiBo.com. Mr. McQueen has spoken highly of the growth
and development of the Communications program at ECU and has recommended that we
build a relationship with ECU’s up and coming program. Below we’ve produced a short
list of the benefits, responsibilities and possible strategies for our partnership to be
successful.
