Women’s Roundtable at East Carolina University Internship
Duties:
- Assist with planning and implementing Women’s Roundtable meetings
- Assist with planning fall Board of Directors meeting
- Assist with committee meeting (most via conference call)
- Participate in meetings when available
- Follow-up with to-do’s generated from meeting
- Assist with planning regional WRT events
- Other as needed
- Assist with all correspondence
- Membership welcome letters
- Membership renewal letters
- Mailings to Women’s Roundtable Board of Directors
- Correspondence pertaining to committees
- Other as needed
- Assist with marketing of the Women’s Roundtable
- Coordinating mailings/membership solicitations to targeted groups
- Helping to update the Women’s Roundtable website
- Writing articles for the quarterly Women’s Roundtable newsletter
- Helping to update the Women’s Roundtable Facebook page
- Some assistance with other special events planned through University Development
Work schedule:
Paid position, 20 hours per week. Begins fall 2011 and lasts through spring 2012 (this is negotiable)
Skills desired:
Potential intern needs to have a good grasp of Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Adobe InDesign and
Photoshop is a plus. Candidate must be able to adhere to deadlines.
