ITN Channel 4 News are looking for a full time intern to join our award winning bureau team in Washington DC.
Channel 4 News is one of the UK’s top news and current affairs show broadcast nightly for one hour on the Channel 4 network in the UK and syndicated around the world.
From Libya to Japan, Sri Lanka to Brazil, our award winning news show covers the world with indepth news and analysis. Our reports are syndicated worldwide, running on CNN International and the PBS Newshour.
Washington is our busiest bureau, broadcasting daily reports and in-depth extended stories on all apsects of news in the United States. The intern will play a full role in the daily operations of the bureau, carry out research and planning, assist with guest booking duties, live broadcasts and producing stories. There may be some opportunity to travel.
The internship is a great opportunity to get hands on TV news experience with a highly regarded international broadcaster. Our interns have gone on to obtain good jobs within the industry both in the US and the UK. The job would suit a recent graduate with some practical newsroom experience and a commitment to a future in journalism.
