| Details: | FEARnet is the premiere multi-platform network for horror, thriller and suspense movies available on tv channel line-ups, on demand and online. FEARnet is currently looking for interns to start working immediately with its Social Media team. Interns will work directly with the Marketing Coordinator, Manager and Directors to interactively market FEARnet content to social media communities and network sharing sites. They will be posting and moderating content on various sites to increase brand awareness and become familiar with communities and trends as well as college outreach to school forums and magazines(Examples: imdb hitlist, ning, bebo, facebook). Interns will create relationships with bloggers and fan sites (i.e. Twilight, True Blood), and create Weekly Marketing reports highlighting the social outreach for the week. The Social Media department is looking for someone who is a curious and sharp undergraduate interested in marketing, journalism, and new media. This is an excellent way to get a foot in the door at an evolving multi-platform network. The ideal candidate will have social media, digital and online community experience and will keep abreast on industry trends and activities (i.e. go to the niche communities and participate in the forums and are curious to see what’s on the floor of new media). Ideal candidate must be able to prioritize, research, meet deadlines and most importantly multi-task. All internships are unpaid and are for-credit only. All applicants must be eligible to receive school credit in exchange for the internship. |
