Responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining media lists Monitoring and tracking media Clip Paste-ups Writing media updates Preparing fact sheets and backgrounders Preparing pitch letters Pitching media Assisting in the development of press releases Attending client meetings Writing client and/or team memos Assisting with research for new business opportunities and client presentations Assisting with event coordination Attending team meetings Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a basic understanding of public relations, either through course work or previous internship experience.
