Details: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’s Marketing and War Room Creative Departments are seeking smart, confident, creative, organized, and ambitious college students to fill part-time unpaid internships for the summer semester!
Responsibilities will include sitting in on / taking notes during weekly pitch meetings, assisting war room producers with creative research, video editing, various other light administrative duties and posting to Facebook and Twitter. We entrust our interns with a lot of responsibility as many of our current employees once interned for us. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in several dynamic on site departments for a prime time network show.
Job Requirements: You MUST be enrolled in an internship program which is giving you credit! (Please be advised this is absolutely non-negotiable) Applicants should possess strong communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, the desire to create, the ability to multi-task and an eye for detail. Experience with Avid and/or Final Cut Pro is not an absolute requirement, but is definitely preferred. They must also have a laptop computer and reliable means of transportation. The internship will last the entire summer semester (dates are flexible to work around school schedule, other jobs, etc.).
Please send resume as text in body of email in addition to a 1-3 paragraph statement convincing us that you are right for the job. (Think of it as a preliminary written interview)
