Intern will be responsible for:
- Leading and/or supporting the assessment of marketing and business initiatives by performing analytical projects and industry research (domestic and international). Analytical project examples include: competitive landscape, release windows strategies, media planning, pricing, promotions and others as needed.
- Supporting day-by-day sales planning duties for our different lines of business (domestic and international), from detailed product performance tracking to high level ad-hoc reports requested by senior management.
Intern will gain the following skills:
- Get hands-on experience and good understanding of the transactional digital distribution space, from consumer behavior to business models and industry structure
- Sharp quantitative problem solving and analytical skills while expanding knowledge on TV and Film distribution
- Gain exposure to different departments of the company while working in a fast-paced team and in a challenging industry environment
Qualifications
- Degree in Business related field preferred. Major in Math or Statistics a plus.
- Familiarity or experience in business intelligence and data mining preferred
- Experience in digital content or distribution a plus, interest in Film/TV content completely required.
- High proficiency in Excel and Power Point required. Candidate must also feel comfortable with VBA and Database Web Applications.
- Data-driven, resourceful and problem-solver individual with a strong interest in entertainment and digital media would be an ideal candidate.
