As a Communications Intern, you will work as a member of our Corporate Communications team, supporting a range of projects spanning employee and electronic communications programs. The environment is dynamic, but supportive, with an emphasis on developing your communication skills and giving you real-world experience. You’ll work up to 21 hours per week, based on your academic schedule. Primary responsibilities include: • Write news stories that will appear on company’s global intranet. • Conduct research of trends to gather data that will assist with employee presentations • Provide organization and logistics supports for company meetings • Support the development and dissemination of letters from business leaders and other critical communications to employees and other parties • Monitor company internet email box and disseminate requests and inquiries to appropriate internal parties • Help team members post and manage content on the company’s intranet portal. • Assist other members of the communications team, including the media relations, social media and government relations teams to assist with projects
