Fox 17 Nashville has several immediate openings for college juniors and seniors seeking NON-PAID internship opportunities within the broadcast television and advertising industries. Internships are specifically available to work within the SALES DEPARTMENT coordinating a local mobile marketing initiative.
Internship duties include: Calling business partners to conduct customer service survey, preparing promotional materials for distribution, participating in “street teams” to distribute promotional materials, data entry of new client orders and/or revision requests, basic administrative reporting and spreadsheet maintenance, basic administrative assistance in filing, organizing, and preparing materials for distribution
Eligibility Requirements: You must be registered and attending an accredited institution during the quarter or semester in which the internship if performed, You must be at least 18 years of age and in good standing, as defined by your academic institution. Graduate students are also eligible. Preferably, applicants should be communications majors, though other majors may be considered. In addition to meeting the institution’s eligibility requirements, the applicant must meet the station and/or company’s eligibility requirements.
