The Queens Tribune, the largest weekly newspaper in the most exciting borough in New York City, is seeking a handful of community minded interns looking to get their foot in the door in journalism. Our interns will work covering meetings, writing stories, taking photos and helping out in the newsroom. Candidates will be expected to work at least three days a week, will have to be adept at meeting deadlines and must have a working knowledge of AP style. We are willing to work with students on gaining academic credit, as well as providing a moderate stipend for a three-month program.
