Intern Position Description The definition of an intern is: a student undergoing supervised practical training. That’s just what you’ll be doing at Reznick Group – practical training. You will work on real client engagements from start to finish. And don’t worry, we’ll teach you everything you need to know. Specific Duties for Audit Interns: Work on all aspects of an audit including preparation of financial statements, work papers, performing lease testing, payroll testing, cash disbursement testing, auditing accounts payable, performing searches for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs and preparing audit work papers Resolve audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients Assist team with daily client workflow Specific Duties for Tax Interns Work on a variety of client deliverables including preparation of tax returns using tax trial balance Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client provided trial balances Assist team with daily client workflow Required Skills Required Experience Requirements Working towards CPA eligibility in the state in which you will work, Masters Degree in Accounting preferred Successful completion of Accounting Principles I & II and Intermediate I prior to start of internship Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment General computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Reznick Group PC – 6 days ago – save job – block |
