Management Internship – Disney Internships & Programs Education Company Overview: Since its opening in 1971, the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, FL has grown to feature four theme parks – the Magic Kingdom ® Park, Epcot ®, Disney’s Hollywood Studios ®, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom ® Theme Park. In addition, more than 20 themed resort hotels, two water parks, and the Downtown Disney® Area, a daytime and nighttime entertainment complex, are part of the Walt Disney World Resort.
Responsibilities Serve as a member of the Disney Internships & Programs Education Team and provide leadership for the daily operation. Coordinate daily assignments and ensure consistent high quality service standards. Handle participant issues and concerns in a professional manner Partner with other departments to provide the best support and service to participants. Accountable for continual training and development of cast for improved performance. Work closely with team to establish goals and measurements to enhance exceptional Guest Service. Partner with leadership and team to drive continuous improvement and metrics of daily operation Review, update, and maintain current operational processes
Basic Qualifications These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for this position: Successful completion of the Disney College Program or a current Disney College Program participant Currently earning a college/university degree Current College Junior, Senior or Graduate Student Demonstrated strong computer proficiency within a Windows environment Demonstrated strong problem solving skills Demonstrated strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills Proven organization and planning skills , and strong attention to detail Demonstrated strong leadership ability and follow-through Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks Demonstrated ability to motivate, recognize and direct cast toward a common goal Proven self-starter and ability to balance multiple priorities Ability to work a flexible schedule which will include nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 6 months demonstrated leadership Knowledge of educational environment within a college setting
