Qualifications: Please Note: Students @ Work Internships are paid at minimum-wage and structured to last approximately 12 weeks. Program dates are Jan 30th April 20th. Course Credit is available. Resume is required. Students should have a strong academic record (3.0 strongly preferred). Students must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship (i.e. STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL DURING THE TIME OF THIS INTERNSHIP). Students seeking college credit are strongly encouraged to apply. Note to International Students: All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to your arrival if accepted to the program.

Duties: Answer the show team s main phone line which includes transferring to the appropriate person and trouble-shooting requests
Complete dubs and log video tape and/or live feeds
Research video and text content for news segments
Request and coordinate tape feeds
Assist Editorial Producers with prepping for guest arrivals
Assist Associate Producers with daily tasks in relation to the show
Attend daily show meetings and offer support
Opportunity to pitch story/guest ideas to show team with research
Train on various news operating programs including Lexis Nexis, iNews, MediaSource, etc.
Mandatory assignment for each intern due at the end of the semester
Be prompt, proactive, courteous, inquisitive, and professional at all times
