| Townsquare Media seeks motivated digital interns to join our NYC-based team, at least 3-5 full days per week for 2-3 months. Interns will learn about digital media in a fast-paced startup environment, with opportunities to assist with editorial content, marketing and outreach, design/development and other aspects of Townsquare's local and national sites. Qualifications: -Enthusiastic interest in new media -Social media-savvy -Highly organized -Great communication skills -Avid consumer of digital media/entertainment -College work in journalism, communications/marketing, web development, writing and publishing, or new media a plus -Great writing skills a plus Responsibilities may include: -Pitching, writing, and editing for Townsquare's local and national sites -Offering editorial expertise to content creators for Townsquare's local sites -Participating in digital team meetings and pitching ideas for site features and audience growth -Assisting with social media interaction, community management and other digital outreach -Assisting with execution of new digital initiatives -Content creation, including audio/video production, photography and photo editing -Editorial and photo research -Data analysis -Some administrative duties Interested applicants should send a cover letter, resume and relevant samples of work to Chris.Kissel@townsquaremedia.com About Townsquare: Townsquare Media is a media company dedicated to developing global entertainment and lifestyle web brands as well as Local media destinations. |
