| The New York Times Regional Media Group is accepting applications for copy editing and design internships in the Gainesville Editing Center located in Gainesville, Fla. Interns will edit and file stories for a national wire service, and/or design pages for multiple international publications. Requirements: Journalists must be experts at AP style and exhibit knowledge of global events. Ability to work effectively under deadline pressure and coordinate effectively with remote clients a must. High level of computer proficiency required. Night and/or weekend shifts may be required. Previous internship experience is highly preferred. Other Information: Compensation is $500 per week. The application deadline is Dec. 1 and candidates will be selected by mid-January.
