Description of function:
The Marketing coordinator will assist the Marketing and Corporate Communications group in coordinating and operating marketing communications activities and assist in fulfilling strategic/product marketing goals for Elster Solutions. Organize online and print advertising, manage deadlines, and assist in producing campaign reports and formal analyses/recommendations to upper management.

Must display initiative, be a self-starter, responsiveness towards accomplishing goals and professionalism in dealing with vendors; take ownership of projects; complete assignments in a timely manner and have strong desire to grow professionally.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, TASKS:

  • Responsible for coordinating PR activities (press releases, articles, speaking at conferences etc.) and interfacing with our PR agency for tactical information.
  • Responsible for tracking Marcom activities (white papers, webinars etc.) as well as tracking multiple deadlines for various groups in advertising, online etc. Al
  • Responsible for spearheading our online fulfillment project
  • Creative input on ad campaigns, segmentation work as well as strategic marketing solutions.
  • Photoshop and graphic skills a plus

Requirements:
Strong Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills essential. Knowledge and familiarity with web functionalities, databases, reporting and queries very helpful. Bachelor’s Degree in process currently or recent graduate is required.

PREFERRED: KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

General knowledge of marketing and PR, as well as ability to organize and be extremely detail oriented.
