| The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is now seeking college students for a paid internship to work with our Slice magazine. The Print Journalism Intern will work directly with leading industry professionals and assist with publishing the “Slice” Magazine.
Candidate should be a senior at an undergraduate level or working towards a graduate degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Public Relations seeking a “for credit” internship; Qualifications include strong writing skills, the ability to work both independently and in a group environment on deadline, flexibility, curiosity, organization, attention to detail, a strong work ethic and excellent time management. Creative Self-Driven Be able to grab the reader’s attention Must be able to interpret/transcribe interviews into articles Interview subjects for stories/articles Proven mastery of language and grammar Ability to write for diverse audience Must have knowledge of MS Word. Preferred candidate will have working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Preferred candidate for the internship will have experience writing for their school newspaper or other publications.
